Monday Morning Music - "Outta Time"

Monday Morning Music is whatever tune I've got in my head when I wake up.

Prince and the Revolution - 1999

"1999" is a song by Prince, the title track from his 1982 album of the same name. The song is one of Prince's best-known, and a defining moment in his rise to superstar status.

On New Year's Eve 1999, Prince (his stage name at that time still being an unpronounceable symbol) held a concert entitled Rave Un2 the Year 2000 at his Paisley Park Studios Soundstage, and he later vowed never to play it again. However, in August 2007, as part of his Earth Tour, he reintroduced the song to his set after an absence of almost eight years.

I only seem to think of this song around New Year's, so here 'tis!

Bing Crosby - Mele Kalikimaka

"Mele Kalikimaka" is a Hawaiian-themed Christmas song written in 1949 by Robert Alex Anderson. The song takes its title from the Hawaiian phrase, "Mele Kalikimaka," meaning "Merry Christmas".[1] The phrase is borrowed directly from English but since Hawaiian has a different phonological system - Hawaiian does not have the /r/ or /s/ of English and doesn't have the phonotactic constraints to allow consonants at the end of syllables or consonant clusters - "Merry Christmas" becomes "Mele Kalikimaka"

Of course, I usually think of this scene from "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation."

"Christmas in Hollis" has also been featured in a few Hollywood films and TV shows since its 1987 release. It was featured near the beginning of the 1988 action film Die Hard

Allan Sherman - Hello Mudda, Hello Fadduh

Allan Sherman (born Allan Copelon;[1] November 30, 1924 – November 20, 1973) was an American comedy writer and television producer who became famous as a song parodist in the early 1960s.  His biggest hit single was "Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh", a comic novelty in which a boy describes his summer camp experiences to the tune of Ponchielli's Dance of the Hours.
